My name is Djik. Just call me Jack.

This is not a portfolio website. It is my personal archive, built over the years while observing people, places and the moments in between.

For more than two decades, I worked in advertising as a Creative Director. In that world, images are planned, digitally perfected or created entirely by AI.

This archive is my counterpoint to that world. Things are more relaxed here. I deliberately shoot on film, drawn to its grain, its technical limitations and the uncertainty of making an image without complete control.

I am interested in the beauty of everyday life and the absurdity that reveals itself when you look long enough.

Through the camera, those moments remain: light leaving traces on film.
